Agnus castus, the ‘Chaste Tree’, is actually a shrub with violet flowers. Found in the Mediterranean region, its uses have been recorded since the time of Hippocrates. The tiny reddish brown fruits, which appear in the summer, are used to create this tincture.

Agnus castus acts on the pituitary gland to increase the secretion of luteinising hormone, which leads to an increase in the production of progesterone during the second half of the menstrual cycle.
Ingredients:
Tincture of Agnus castus (Chaste Tree) dried fruit, extracted in alcohol (69% v/v).
Directions for use:
Adults: 15-20 drops in a little water twice daily.
Children: This product is not recommended for children under 14 years of age
