Who are we and why do we sell Reverse Osmosis machines?

For somebody who has always had a tendency to eat and drink too much and have no hesitation about tucking into a greasy kebab after a night out I have always been passionate about organic food. More so, after the arrival of two daughters 1988 and 1990. After a visit to The Organic Food Exhibition held in Anaheim California in 1997 we started importing a range of Organic products from the USA. Tesco, Sainsbury's along with lots of health food stores started buying from us, especially our organic tomato puree and pasta sauces made by Muir Glen We got so busy that we couldn't keep up, because it took so long for the products to get to the UK. So we took the plunge and with backing from Dad we bought a canning factory in Letchworth, converted it to 100% organic production and set to learning the "Principles of Canning" Within 5 months we had 5 of our own label (Organic Valley) products stocked by Tesco one of which was Organic Baked Beans.
Baked beans are made with "Navy Beans" and these are supplied dehydrated. To rehydrate the beans we had to soak them overnight in water. If we used tap water the beans absorbed the calcium in the water and went hard, so we had to install an industrial size Reverse Osmosis machine. Apart from using this fantastic pure water to rehydrate our beans, we used it in everything we produced. It was so good that all the lads in the factory started taking bottles of it home. We were all hooked on RO water. A great adventure came to an end when we sold out to Meridian Foods.
It was while searching for a way to get RO water for my home that I ended up importing RO machines and have been for over a decade.
